For many years, the Town of Kilmarnock faced challenges with their previous ERP software vendor. With the Town’s 1,200 water and wastewater utility accounts, they needed a system that was Microsoft Windows-based, a feature that was not offered by their previous system. Additionally, their software provider made reporting difficult and lacked sufficient and reliable support services. For these reasons, the Town decided to explore other software options.


Action

After speaking with the Edmunds GovTech team, the Town of Kilmarnock realized that it was time to make the switch to a new provider that is Microsoft Windows based. Edmunds was the best total solution to streamline the Town’s business processes and increase their efficiency through a simplified reporting system.


Results

When the Town of Kilmarnock made their transition to Edmunds in 2012, they were thrilled with the implementation process and training that they received. They continue to utilize the simple and easy reporting tools, which allows them to operate efficiently. Kilmarnock enjoys the easy access they have to historical data and appreciates the excellent support services that Edmunds offers.
