A Note From Bob Edmunds – 2022

A Note from Bob Edmunds: 

It’s good to see that spring has finally sprung for most of the country. I greatly enjoy the outdoor activities and hearing the pleasant sounds that spring weather brings. Growing up as a “shore boy,” spring, summer, and fall will always be my favorite times of the year.

This past October, Edmunds introduced Greg Sebastian as the President of our company. Greg has a strong background in the local government market and technology company leadership. He will work alongside me in our continuing commitment to streamline processes and improve delivery of products and services for all Edmunds’ customers. More importantly, Greg is a good culture fit for Edmunds, as our primary focus will always be providing a strong product backed by the best customer service in the marketplace. His prior position was with Tyler Technologies as a division President. Greg is also a CPA with a degree in accounting and master’s degree in finance.

It’s hard to believe, but Edmunds GovTech is celebrating our 50th year in business. My father, also Bob, founded Edmunds & Associates in 1972. Three of my four sons are now actively involved at Edmunds, with my oldest, Bob (surprise), as Vice-President of Sales & Marketing.  Edmunds became fully devoted to local government software in 1991, 30+ years ago, when my dad decided to ditch his suit and become a wholesale flower farmer. He literally handed over the keys and said, “good luck, you’ll be fine.” I wasn’t so sure at the time.

Please accept my appreciation for giving us the privilege of serving every single one of you and your local government.  Our success would not be possible without the commitment and steady guidance given by our customer community. Edmunds looks forward to continuing and enhancing our relationship with all Edmunds’ customers.
