Edmunds GovTech to Present the 2024 Guts & Glory 5k
Northfield, NJ – Edmunds GovTech (EGT) is excited to announce the 2024 Guts & Glory 5k Walk/Run, scheduled for Sunday, August 11th, 2024, in Ocean City, NJ. This marks EGT’s 28th consecutive year as the primary sponsor of this charitable event.
The Guts & Glory 5k is a charity fundraiser organized in collaboration with the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation (CCF). All proceeds from the event will directly benefit the CCF. Last year, the event raised over $300,000 thanks to hundreds of enthusiastic participants.
EGT employees will once again volunteer to help oversee the event in Ocean City, NJ.
“Over the years, we have raised more than $4.5 million for research grants and patient support through our partnership with the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation,” said Bob Edmunds, Race Chairman and Owner of Edmunds GovTech. “Our collaboration with the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) has also been crucial in funding groundbreaking research and successful treatments for children affected by Crohn’s disease and Ulcerative Colitis. We look forward to another great turnout at the 5k.”
EGT aims to significantly enhance their contributions this year to further increase awareness and support for those affected by Crohn’s and Colitis. The funds raised will continue to provide critical services and resources to individuals and families in need.
